OUR HERITAGE

AAI & Spalding have a longstanding history as official equipment suppliers for major competitions, including the Olympics, World Championships, and NCAA Championships. We are known for our innovative equipment designs and commitment to quality, which have left a significant mark on sports like gymnastics and volleyball. Additionally, AAI/Spalding’s acquisition of Basketball Products International in 1996 solidified our position as the world’s largest basketball supplier, with a dedication to providing high-quality products for over 70 years.

Even with its rich history of firsts and first places, AAI & Spalding products are designed to help athletes of all levels reach their full potential. Our company supports a variety of organizations and programs each year giving back to the community.

The AAI Award is handed out each year and considered the Heisman Trophy of women’s gymnastics, bringing an excitement to women’s sports.

AAI’s Regional Check Presentation supports our grassroots initiatives, donating each year to each gymnastics region alongside the THSGCA scholarship for high school athletes. Our company is excited to continue to provide the best possible products and opportunities for athletes of all levels.

OUR FACILITIES

AAI operates three modern facilities in Jefferson, Iowa, totaling over 240,000 square feet. We employ cutting-edge technology for steel and aluminum fabrication, painting, and product finishing. With a focus on quality and innovation, AAI constantly develops new products to meet customer needs, supported by on-site testing facilities. We have earned a reputation as leaders in producing top-quality equipment for gymnastics, volleyball, basketball, and more, with strong factory support for our customers.
